With summer approaching, we have the potential for strong thunderstorms, tornadoes, and of course, flooding.  It is never a bad time to review options and get a plan together.  It doesn’t matter if you are a business or a small family, having a plan can save lives. We shared an article about this last year and it is definitely relevant to share again here when talking about being prepared for an emergency.  People with disabilities need to take extra consideration for accessibility, and other accommodations.

Disability Viewpoints recently shared a story about a family living in Goose Creek Island and I felt that it is a big eye opener to issues that one could face in the event of an evacuation.
