Freedom In Action is in full swing and again.   We are offering an extended opportunity for those in the class to not only create a piece of art that is personal, but create lasting friendships and build social skills.   Freedom In Action is a monthly social and learning experience that provides a positive atmosphere to learn something new while working on something that is not new.  Being social is good for you.  The benefits include reduced stress and improved mental health.  But don’t take our word for it.  Check out what Psychology Today says about being social.  The atmosphere is relaxed, the people are friendly and helpful.  We look forward to seeing you at an upcoming event.  If art isn’t your thing, maybe you would be interested in attending a holiday luncheon instead.  On December 3rd at Zion Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls, Freedom Resource Center is hosting a chili feed with all the fixings.  It starts at 12:30 pm and goes until 2:30 pm.  For more information or to register call Marie or Leigh at (218)-998-1799.  On December 10th, Freedom is hosting a holiday luncheon at the Fargo location (2701 9th Ave South Fargo, ND).  For more information or to register call Jana at (701)-478-0459.  For more information about a Freedom In Action near you, call 1-800-450-0459.  Hope to see you soon.
