Freedom Friday: accessibility and cell phones

 In #zerobarriers, Freedom Friday

If you are as enamored assistive technology as I am you will find this all sorts of amazing. I am sharing a blog post from North Dakota Assistive’s Trish Floyd. She writes an article about the accessibility of Apple devices with switch access and she includes a few videos of users of switch technology and the application of Siri. Apple has actually invested much time and money into researching accessibility for people with disabilities so take some time and view the videos embedded in the blog post, if you don’t need the features because of a disability, you may just learn some cool features to impress your friends.

For you, Android users, scroll down on the page to see what your phone can do too! Keep going to see what else you can do to make your phone easier to access. woman viewing her cell phone on and adaptive holder
