It is that time of year again.  If you haven’t put up your decorations yet chances are you would prefer a safe, simple solution to decorating without dangers. Decorating for the holidays can be a struggle for even the most able bodied person. When you have mobility issues, decorating can be downright dangerous. This time of year snow and ice can make even short walks to the mailbox a treacherous journey. Just the thought of hanging lights outside makes me nervous, and  if you are like me you are greeted with a tangled mess of lights in the bottom of a large storage container.  Sometimes the lights still work. My dad who suffers from multiple sclerosis  and has not been able to put up lights like he has in years past. Projectors can be a safe alternative to hanging lights and can be used indoors as well as outside. Here are some additional decorating tips from The Mighty here.

How do you make decorating easy? We would love to hear your thoughts as this time of year is challenging and sharing thoughts and personal experience can help others to get through the holidays without a struggle.  You can reach us by clicking here or simply commenting on the Facebook post.
