Untangling Christmas lights can be a challenge

Decorating for the holidays can be a struggle for even the most able bodied person. When you have mobility issues, decorating can be downright dangerous. This time of year snow and ice can make even short walks to the mailbox a treacherous journey. Just the thought of hanging lights outside makes me nervous, and  if you are like me you are greeted with a tangled mess of lights in the bottom of a large storage container.  Sometimes the lights still work. My dad who suffers from Multiple Sclerosis is unable to walk and has not been able to put up lights like he has in years past. Projectors can be a safe alternative to hanging lights and can be used indoors as well as outside. I did some additional research and found some safe decorating tips from The Mighty here.

How do you make decorating easy? We would love to hear your thoughts as this time of year is challenging and sharing thoughts and personal experience can help others to get through the holidays without a struggle.
