Helping Students Transition From School To Working
After suffering a stroke at a young age, Dylan Riehm had to learn with the after-effects. It made it difficult to concentrate and affected the right side of his body. Despite challenges, Dylan became a role model and advocate for youth by speaking up for people who are unable to do so for themselves. While in high-school, Dylan began attending classes at Freedom Resource Center. The classes Dylan was offered helped with his transition from school to working in the community. Classes like Skills to Pay the Bills and Transition 101 are just a few of the courses offered through Freedom Resource Center.
Dylan took what he learned at Freedom and went on to help others. “Freedom has helped me a lot in the last two years, I like Freedom. I think it’s awesome” Dylan said.
