For people with mobility issues, getting a motorized scooter or wheelchair can be life changing.  Getting one covered by insurance can be tricky.  A power wheelchair is considered a piece of medical equipment.  One that can remove barriers to independent living.  So then why is it so hard for some to get it covered by their insurance?  Here is an article that can help shed some light on what is needed in most cases.

If you or someone you know has a need for a mobility device but can’t get it covered please call Freedom Resource Center at 1-800-450-0459 or visit us at freedomrc.org.
