Getting around using public transportation can be tricky.  Not only do you need to know the proper routes, but arrival and departure times as well.  If you are in the Fargo area, MATBUS has several tools to help riders get to where they are going. Watch this instructional video from MATBUS. Here is a link with accessibility tips as well as mobility device information.  You can even use a trip planner link where you can add the address of where you want to go and where you are starting from.  Once you put this information in it will show you the route as well as ask if you would like directions sent directly to your phone.

Also, TapRide on-demand ride service is available in the Fargo Industrial Park Monday through Friday from 6:15am to 11:15pm.  This area is rich in job openings but until August 5th, of this year, the closest bus stop to the area was over a mile away!  The work from the United Way of Cass-Clay and input from area businesses was critical in making this option a reality.  Check out this story on Fargo INC.  With TapRide, you can ride the bus to one of two hubs and from there you can request TapRide to pick you up and bring you directly to the front door of any Industrial Park business.  For more information click here.  If you do not have a smartphone or need help you can call (701)232-7500.  You can also request existing route drivers page the TapRide service for you if you do not have a phone.  Recently there were a total of 19,000 job openings in the Fargo Industrial park that were difficult to fill due to lack of reliable, affordable transportation to and from that area.
