Motivation Monday: The Living Doll
was diagnosed around age 9 with Scleroderma, a condition that affects the connective tissue in the skin; it is a progressive autoimmune disease. She said at first it was not bad but it worsened quickly and currently, she uses a wheelchair and has very limited dexterity in her hands. This is not stopped her though, she continues to have a positive attitude and she pursues her passion for fashion and makeup. She is a self-described goth and has created a character for herself to share her story, TheTragicDoll, which you can follow on Instagram. She shows the power of positive thinking and how sharing your story is part of self-acceptance.
