Fresh air and a change of scenery can do wonders, just remember to keep a 6 foot bubble around yourself. Photo credit: citizen-times.com

We all have a responsibility to practice social distancing right now, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get out for some outdoor adventures and be responsible at the same time.  Warmer weather is upon us, and most sidewalks are free from snow by now.  Getting outside and enjoying some fresh air not only gives us a break from our walls inside our homes, it gives us a change of scenery.  Also, you will find that many homes have put messages of hope in their windows for passerby’s to see.  It is a nice break from the news at this point.  You will likely see some people out walking, jogging and biking.  Give them a wave and say hello.  Not only is this the friendly thing to do, but you will find that when someone waves at you, it just might make your day.  Just remember to keep your 6 foot bubble around yourself and if you must touch a crosswalk button, be sure wear gloves and upon returning home, wash and sanatize your hands.
