Social Security offices are taking precautionary steps to help slow the spread of COVID-19.  On March 17th, 2020, all offices suspended walk-in visitors.  You are still able to receive assistance over the phone, or through a dedicated webpage. Check out this link from the Social Security Administration.  Also during this time, be aware that there are scammers attempting to fool people into believing that their Social Security checks will no longer come.  This is not the case.  For any questions regarding Social Security assistance please call 1-800-450–0459.  Freedom Resource Center advocates are ready to assist you with your Social Security concerns.
